The prosecutors' associations have joined forces with the judicial associations that signed the agreement, all except the Professional Association of the Judiciary. Both groups signed a statement demanding that the Government comply with the May agreement signed and leaving the door open to pressure measures if it does not materialize.
This is explained by Cristina Dexeus , president of the Association of Prosecutors, the majority association in the Fiscal Council, “from what we see, the first payment of the new increase in the October payroll will not take place . Despite the current political situation with so much uncertainty and where it is not clear whether there will be a Government Singapore Email List or not, the current acting Executive could give way to our agreement on salary increases and other demands. After speaking with Manuel Olmedo at the opening of the judicial year, we have decided to come to the fore and once again demand compliance with that agreement from the Ministries of Finance and Justice.”

Dexeus reminds us that the budget item is already set aside and set “to meet commitments with judges and prosecutors. It is money they have to make these payments, but for the moment it is frozen. If there is political will, the solution can be resolved quickly in the coming weeks. Since shortly before the elections we have had no news from the Ministry of Justice.”
This prosecutor does not hide that this end of the year is going to be very complicated for the Spanish justice system. “I hope that Justice gets rid of our agreement, also resolves the LAJs agreement and gives a solution to the officials' demands. We cannot spend another six months with the courts paralyzed . All groups demand what we agreed with the Ministry, except for the officials who have not been able to close an agreement.
Salvador Viada , prosecutor of the Supreme Court and president of the Professional and Independent Association of Prosecutors (APIF), states that “ we are surprised that, given the budgeted money, this agreement that we made last May has not been executed . It seems that the idea of Justicia is to reach an agreement with the justice unions first and then address ours and that of the LAJs . It is heard that they first want to resolve this issue of the unions and then address ours later.”

This approach by the Ministry has caused judges and prosecutors who signed the agreement to mobilize to demand that it be fulfilled without further delay. " This is a shame. It is one thing for them to be in office and another thing for them to do nothing . Starting October 1, which is when they must pay, if they do not pay we will have to begin to initiate pressure and legal actions. I am in favor of suing them. A Government must comply with the agreements it signs.”
From his point of view, “ we agreed on a salary improvement that is not the best possible because we believed that the agreement would be fulfilled and thus avoid a major problem in Justice, after the strikes by LAJs and civil servants. But the problem is that they don't comply. Being interim does not exempt them from fulfilling their responsibilities with the associations of judges and prosecutors. The institutional deterioration is important and the credibility of the Ministry of Justice is at its lowest hours.”
